Transgender children will be able to change their gender on their national identity card

The Constitutional Court is currently drafting a judgement which will be published
soon to repeal the piece of legislation that restricted the change of
gender on the national identity card for minors. Therefore, transgender minors
will be eligible for this option before they turn 18.

Provisional requirements for transgender children

It appears that the Constitutional Court has reconsidered the rights of the
transgender young people and a commitment to their protection and personal privacy
